My name is Steve Ferri. My wife and I have been together since we graduated high school and have 3 wonderful kids. When I’m not on a job or preparing estimates, I’m running around with my wife to one of our kids sporting events. 

 

I have been in construction since I was 16 when I worked for a remodeling contractor where I gained a large knowledge of how homes are constructed. During that time, I found myself working around wiring which really caught my interest. Post high school I decided to attend Porter and Chester for electrical technology.

 

Upon graduating, I began working for an electrical contractor where I completed my apprenticeship, obtained my journeyman’s license and went on to pass the state testing for my masters license.
 

With encouragement from my wife, I decided to branch off on my own and start SDF Electric. Getting to work directly with customers and help them with their ideas and electrical problems is so important to me. I always enjoy a challenge, especially when a customer has an idea of what they want and a budget to work with. From there, I'm able to get creative to find a way to meet all of their needs.

Being and electrician is not just a job for me,  truly have a passion. There is no feeling in this business as rewarding as making my customers visions come to life.
